The Round Rock ISD Early Career Support Framework provides support for teachers in their first and second year of teaching. With a focus on emotional support, learning, growth, and effectiveness of new-to-profession teachers, multiple layers of support are offered. Each early career teacher in Round Rock ISD receives a campus-assigned Teacher Coach (mentor) who provides individualized support. As an additional layer, Lead Teacher Coaches are campus-based and assist early career teachers and teacher coaches through one-on-one support and facilitating monthly campus meetings. The Early Career Teacher Support Team is composed of instructional coaches who serve 0-year teachers in their classroom through job-embedded, timely support. The Professional Development Department is honored to manage the logistics and facilitation of the Early Career Teacher Support Framework and excited to provide various professional learning opportunities throughout the year to help each stakeholder build their capacity and be as effective as possible.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) also have dedicated time to connect with other ECTs, meet the Early Career Teacher Support Team and learn about the support provided in RRISD.
